Are you interested in becoming more involved with the Howard HS PTSA?
Perhaps as an officer, committee chair, or assisting a committee?

Feel free to contact the PTSA President at president@howardptsa.org for more information throughout the school year and/or attend a monthly PTSA Meeting(s)  (typically 2nd Tuesdays at 7pm) to learn more about different committees.
A variety of time commitments are needed.

Also each spring (typically March-May) a nominating committee of 3 people is formed to seek officers for the next school year.
For Howard HS PTSA, our officer positions currently consist of a President, 2 Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary, and 2 Delegates to the PTA Council of Howard County (PTACHC).   Officers are elected to serve for 1-year terms from July 1 through June 30 (the PTSA’s fiscal year) and may serve 2 terms.  The election of new officers is held during the May General Membership Meeting (typically 2nd Monday).

The Board of Directors consists of officers, chairs of standing committees, and the principal.

Thank you for your consideration!
