Wreaths Across AmericaREMEMBER our fallen U.S. veterans.
HONOR those who serve. TEACH your children the value of freedom. Howard HS PTSA has partnered with Wreaths Across America to remember and honor those who have served our country. You are invited to join the effort by sponsoring a wreath to be placed on the headstone of a fallen soldier. Wreaths sponsored through Howard HS PTSA will be placed at the Baltimore National Cemetery in Catonsville on December 19, 2020, Wreaths Day. A portion of each wreath purchase benefits Howard HS PTSA. |

How to Participate
Before November 30, 2020:
How it Got Started
In 2007, The Worcester family, along with veterans, and others who had helped with their annual Christmas wreath ceremony in Arlington, VA formed Wreaths Across America, to continue and expand this effort, and support other groups from around the country who wanted to do the same. This non-profit organization continues the Arlington tradition as part of its mission to Remember, Honor and Teach. In 2013, with the help of thousands of individual and group sponsors and volunteers, 540,000 wreaths were donated and placed at over 900 participating cemeteries from Maine to Arlington National Cemetery. You can find out more about Wreaths Across America at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org. |
