AND RACE PARTICIPANTS!!
A sincere Thank You to all the Color Fun Run Volunteers and Race Participants who attended and helped out in our very first Color Fun Run. We had 104 race participants run, jog and walk our course around our campus while getting sprayed with colored water at our 6 different color zones. And for the Grand Finale, we had one giant color powder tossing in the center of the Senior Parking lot to end it all with even more color. Check out some of the great pics from our event! Homecoming Week Kick-off Color Fun Run
UPDATED COLOR RUN RACE INFORMATION:
Our first annual COLOR RUN will be happening this weekend and we are excited to kick-off Homecoming Week with a COLORFUL blast. We wanted to pass on some important information to you regarding the race.
* All cars will need to park in the Main parking lot to the left. The Senior parking lot will not be accessible to cars.
* All participants will need to check-in at the Check-in/Registration table prior to the beginning of the race. Check-in begins at 1pm. All race attendees who registered early will receive their T-shirts, race bibs and color powder packets there. We encourage all race attendees who registered late to wear their own white T-shirt. You will only receive a bandana and a color powder packet.
* The race will begin at 2pm. The course begins in front of the auditorium (see white balloons) and will end in the Senior Parking lot (multi-color balloons). We would like for those who plan on running the course to please line up at the front of the group. Those that want to jog can line up in the middle and finally those that plan on walking should line up towards the end of the group. We encourage everyone to go around the course as many times as you would like through the colored water zones.
* Our GRAND FINALE color powder tossing will take place in the Senior Parking lot around 3:15pm. Principal Novak will give the count down for everyone to toss their color powder up in the air.
* We will have concessions of Gatorade and Chips for sale ($1 each) as well as Captain Cookie and The Milk Man food truck who will be selling his famous freshly baked cookies.

Howard High School PTSA will host a community wide Homecoming Week Kick-off Color Splash FUNDrun by Get Active Fundraising on September 22nd, 2019 at 2pm to raise money for their school. The Color Splash FUNDrun is an untimed Fun Color Run (on and off road) for all ages and fitness abilities. Walk, jog, or run to the finish line! One time around the coarse is .95 miles. Choose to go once, twice or three times around. Along the route, participants pass through vibrant colored zones, making it a “colorful experience.” This event is fun for all ages and a great way to make running fun and exciting! Additionally, during the race, participants are doused with colored water at various color zones ending with one Grand Finale color powder celebration at the finish line. Early Registration is $25 per participant. Save $20 when you register 4 participants at a time. Participants that register by 9/8/19 will receive a t-shirt, race bib, and individual color packet. Late Registration fees go up to $30 if you register after 09/08/19.
